As accredited energy assessors, we are qualified to calculate SAP ratings and produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for newly constructed dwellings. All newly constructed dwellings require a SAP rating to be calculated for Building Regulation compliance at design stage and for the production and lodgement of an EPC on completion. EPCs may only be produced by an accredited assessor and are required prior to Building Control issuing a completion certificate for the dwelling.

U-value calculations can also be undertaken to analyse both the heat loss and condensation risk associated with a particular building element, such as a wall, floor & roof. This enables us to provide advice, independent from manufacturers, on the most thermally efficient construction method and insulation materials that could be utilised for your project.

We have a comprehensive knowledge of the fundamental principles and Building Regulations relevant to the energy performance of buildings.
